Invited to the training camp of the USA Basketball U19 team which was going to participate in the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2021 in Latvia but did not make the final squad.
2020-21 (freshman season)
Appeared in all 26 games and made 14 starts… averaged 4.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game… shot 32.6 percent from the 3-point line… added 10 blocked shots and 19 steals… scored in double digits three times… scored seven points and added three rebounds and three assists in his college debut against Grambling (11/27) … had five points and six rebounds against Eastern Washington (12 /5) … was 2 of 3 from long range en route to 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals against CSU Bakersfield (12/9) … had five points and six rebounds in the win over Colorado ( 12/28) … in his return to his hometown of Phoenix, he scored 13 points — including 3 of 3 from the 3-point line — and four rebounds in the win over Arizona State (1/21) … had eight points and tied his season high with three blocked shots in the home win over Ariz ona State (1/25) … lost 10 points and three rebounds at home to Stanford (1/28) … recorded three points and an eight rebo, a season-high unds against Oregon State (2/11) … was 2 of 3 behind the 3-point line on his way to eight points in the win at USC (2/20).
Terry was a four-star Top 50 recruit nationally…gave Arizona one Top 50 recruit in each of the last 12 recruiting classes…Played basketball at Hillcrest Prep High School in Phoenix. .. As a senior, he averaged 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 3.1 steals and 2.1 blocks per game… Ranked among the top 10 small forwards in the class domestically…as a junior, he averaged over 16 points and was among the nations leaders in assists at 11.4 per game.
