SoCal Challenge announces NCAA men’s basketball teams for

San Juan Capistrano, Calif., May 24, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SoCal Challenge announced the teams for the second edition of its 8-team MTE, which will take place on November 21 and 23 at the Pavillon du JSerra in San Juan Capistrano.
Teams include, in the Surf Division, University of Minnesota, University of Nevada Las Vegas, California Baptist University and Southern Illinois UniversityThe Sand Division includes California State University Northridge, Central Michigan University, High Point Universityand Tennessee State University.

The first SoCal challenge saw Fresno State claim the top prize in the Surf division ahead of Santa Clara, TCU and Pepperdine. Utah Valley took first place in the Sand Division ahead of Cal Poly SLO, Idaho and Nicholls State. The event was hailed for its high energy, professional event management and stunning location.
