Any answer for Jokic here?
While Italy have a lot of experience and a squad that has been together for many years, building great chemistry, when you have a game like Jokic all of those advantages can easily turn to dust. Jokic was unstoppable and it was not just his scoring, but his day-long built leadership of his Nuggets that made him such an imposing player. Vasilije Micic is the perfect fit alongside Nikola as he tends to pass the ball a lot which gives the Serbian force two elite playmakers in Micic and Jokic.
Simone Fontecchio, who improves every year, carried the Italian team on his back most of the time. Apart from him, Achille Polonara was a strong rebounder and scorer while Nicolo Melli was also successful. One thing is for sure, the Italian side lack guard strength as their attacking positions have carried the major load on the attacking side. The guards will have to click if they have to counter the Serbian effort.

FIBA Men’s Qualifiers Scores, Top Fantasy Basketball Picks
Jokic was a huge factor as expected but his burden was lightened thanks to Micic handling the ball and a well balanced unit moving the ball. I expect him to go big here and be in 20+ points, 10+ rebounds, 5-8 assists and 1-2 steals/blocks. It can be selected as Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 Prediction script.
Simone Fontecchio (ITA)
Simone led the Italian scoreline and her improved long-range shot bolstered her attacking output. I think he’ll be 16-24 points and 4-7 rebounds.
Vasilije was one of the best playmakers in the tournament and can also contribute with strong scores. I think he’ll be 10-15 points, 7-11 assists, 3-5 rebounds and 1-2 steals.
Nicolo Melli (Italy)
As a striker, Nicolo’s production was more than satisfactory, and he had some very good nights. I think he’ll be 10-14 points and 3-5 rebounds.
Nikola Kalinic (SER)
Kalinic dipped three triples last game and was a stabilizing presence. I think he will be in the 10-15 point range.
Achile Polonara (ITA)
Achile uses his size well and can knock down the long ball as well, playing a key role. I think he’ll be 9-14 points and 5-8 rebounds.
Vladimir Lucic (SER)
Vladimir can contribute from time to time with a few buckets and has a strong influence on the game. I believe he will be in the 8-12 point range.
Giampolo Ricci (ITA)
Ricci brings the best rebound from the bench and was a big factor. I think he’ll be 8-12 points and 5-7 rebounds.
Marko Guduric (SER)
Marko is a gifted goalscorer and has done a great job providing regular attacking action. I believe it will be in the range of 9 to 13 points.
Luigi Datome (ITA)
Luigi brings a great penchant for scoring off the bench. I think he’ll be 7-12 points and 3-5 rebounds.
Jaramaz can hit the ball long and has provided long range depth which benefits the game alongside Jokic. I believe it will be in the range of 8 to 12 points.
Stefano Tonut (ITA)
Stefano gives more than decent production on both sides. I think he’ll be 7-11 points and 3-5 rebounds.
Nikola Mulutinov (SER)
Nikola gave solid spare minutes in the last game and can score inside. I think he’ll be 8-14 points and 3-5 rebounds.
Nico Mannion (ITA)
Nico provides strength off the bench. I believe it will be in the range of 4 to 8 points.
Dejan did a decent job as a backup player. I believe it will be in the range of 4 to 8 points.
