Several Elite HS Basketball Players Join Jr. NBA Leadership Program

The second cohort of the Jr. NBA Court of Leaders consists of some of the best boys and girls basketball players from the classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Top-ranked men’s basketball players Isiah Harwell (No. 5, Class of 2025), Isaiah Evans (No. 16, Class of 2024) and Bryson Tucker (No. 19, Class of 2024) headline the men’s game. The top three ranked girls from the class of 2024 – Jaloni Cambridge, Joyce Edwards and Judge Carlton – headline the entrants.

Players were selected based on their leadership qualities in tournaments, camps and other competitions, in accordance with Jr. NBA guidelines. The group of 12 was selected by a committee of the NBA’s Youth Development Group and contacted with an invitation to participate.

Each player is connected to an NBA, WNBA and G League mentor. The group will receive guidance on career advancement and leadership training through webinars, workshops, and other guidance on topics such as decision-making, mental wellness, and civic engagement. They also collaborate on social responsibility projects.

In addition, the group will participate in educational trips. Programming begins this weekend in Washington, DC, where athletes will visit the White House, the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
